I am a linguist interested in the study of morphology and particularly word-formation from a both synchronic and diachronic perspective. My main focus has been on Italian and Latin so far but I am willing to broaden my perspective to other languages of Europe. In my studies I adopt a corpus-based approach and I am interested in building new language resources.
I am currently collaborating on a research project on the diachrony of Italian noun–noun compounds at the University of South Bohemia, and I serve as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan.
