I am an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Public Economics at the Department of Economics and Management of University of Florence.
My research interests include education, labour economics, inequality, gender imbalances, and complexity. My main line of research focuses on enrolling decision in higher education adopting an agent-based modelling approach.
I have worked on the project “The Performance of Performance Related Pay”, funded by the Leverhulme Trust and based at the University of Leicester, UK. The project aims at developing an Agent-Based model to compare the individual and collective reward systems and their effects on labour mobility.
In the spotlight
I have collaborated with the Women on the Move (WEMov) COST Action for the development of a MOOC. The focus is on women's migration and education (Class 3)
