lessons at Woodstone Manor
a lesson announcement will go out at least 2 hours before the lesson. typically the morning of said lesson to give members time to prepare and ask questions. the lesson announcement will let riders know when and where the lesson is happening, what they should bring or wear, and any requirements or rules for what horses may attend.
instructors preferences may vary but they will give an hour and/or 15 minute warning. members are asked to arrive on time and be ready to tack up at the lesson start time. instructors may give one last lesson ping to say the lesson is starting, and tell members arriving late where to stand until their arrival is confirmed.
once all riders are tacked up, the instructor will do quick equipment checks and have riders mount up and begin their warmup. warmups may be controlled by the instructor or let riders go at their own pace depending on lesson time, location, and instructor's preference.
after warmups, the lesson will continue for 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on instructor preference, group size, and discipline. if you have to leave early let the instructor know and leave without causing disruption. the instructor will dismiss the group once finished.
