The syllabus is the first document that my students interact with in my classes. To help understand why I put specific things in my syllabus I have annotated a syllabus from a class I taught to help explain my inclusions.
My teaching process is iterative and requires feedback from my students. This section includes both summary measurements and selected student feedback.
The increasing "onlining" of education has its own opportunities and possible pitfalls. Taking advantage of the opportunities and planning around those pitfalls is essential to get the most out of online education.
