Dr. Jhuria has been a faculty member at the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi since January 2026. Before joining IITD, Dr. Jhuria served at IIT Roorkee and IIT Tirupati, Department of Physics for about semester each. She did her postdoctoral research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) for three years, working on Quantum Information Science related projects.

Her current research interest focuses mainly on the hardware aspects of Quantum technologies (Quantum communication, sensing, metrology, networking, and computing) using telecom band Quantum emitters (Spin-photon Qubits) in silicon. Other research avenues are magnetism and Superconductivity, THz, and Spintronic technologies.
