How can I make my game a safe experience for all players without breaking immersion?
The solution I decided on was a diegetic trigger warning system in the form of e-mails from future characters, setting up appointments with the player character (who is a mind-reader). The system also allows players to bypass the triggering content by refusing the appointment and skipping to the next day.
