The Small Business Advisory Board (SBA Board) focuses on empowering the business community by offering innovative tools, collaboration opportunities, and policy influence to support business growth and prosperity. Businesses can register to receive updates, tools, and support as the board develops resources to help them thrive. The board also emphasizes the importance of community and collective success.

Responsibilities include:

• Strategic decisions about the overall mission and vision alongside the timeline.

• Develop tools to support small businesses.

• Provide strategic approach to communicate with local publioc agencies to extend opportunities to the local small business community.

• Provide guidance in navigating the different local public agencies certification, procurement and pyament programs.

Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program(CASA Volunteer)

Court Appointed Special Advocate

A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a trained, court-appointed volunteer who advocates objectively and solely for the best interests of children who are abused, abandoned or neglected and who are involved in dependency court proceedings.

A GAL serves as the eyes, ears and arms of the justice system.  They identify the best possible result for each child whose care is the responsibility of the state. Volunteers regularly present their findings to judges in court. 

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct an objective and systematic examination of the situation, including relevant history, environment, relationships, and needs of the child. 

• Attend and participate in court hearings and related meetings to advocate for a permanent plan that will serve the child’s best interest and that will be in accordance with federal and state laws.  

• ​​Submit monthly child visitation and activity reports.​ 

• Submit a signed report every six months with recommendations to the court. ​

Economic Transition Research for the Humane Party

Used macro-economic analysis skills to understand socio-economic impact of our current economic systems and potential ways to improve them for a brighter, more ethical future. Volunteer activities included:

• Develop methodology for federal economic research

• Prepare economic and financial analysis of federal budget data

• Prepare formal presentation of research and data analysis

• Formulate the ratio calculation for federal level budget data

• Manage relevant information for the coordinators of state development

Many of the publications generated have garnished great interest by many, including Faunalytics.org which included one in the "The Most Important And Popular Research Of 2017"

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center

Special Events and Projects Coordinator

Supported Gumbo Limbo in special events such as mangrove cleaning, and educational events "canoeing trough the mangroves". Learning, caring and teaching about the complex mangrove ecosystem was a deeply fulfilling experience along with many great individuals met. 

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center provides education in environmental conservation along with recovery treatment for turtles with many health related issues and boating accidents.

Science Explorium for kids at “Sugar Sands Park”

The Science explorium at sugar sands is a little treasure for kids found at the heart of the Boca Raton City. Here kids learn in interactive and fun ways many principles of physics and their impacts in our everyday lives. Kids play while acquiring a valuable interest in the world of science. At the science explorium I participated as exhibit guide and coordination and special events' support.

Sugar Sands Science Explorium is a great experience for kids all age, 30 yo. included!
