Wake-skiing, wakeboarding, jet-skiing and everything that involves speed and coordination is a must. The adrenaline rush provides the much needed escape from a mind in constant full throttle. Yet, every now and then, a good session of free diving brings into context how small we are in contrast to the vastness of the sea.
"Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world." -Gustave Flaubert
Traveling and immersing in other cultures provides the opportunity to learn from them. Seeing our differences and learning to appreciate them allow us to grow internally and externally. There is a unique type of joy that comes with getting lost in foreign places only to find yourself with new friends. Along the way, there's always time to add adrenaline to the adventure; be it in the form of skiing, snowboarding, skydiving or cave exploring.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness." -Mark Twain
"Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves." -Henry David Thoreau
