Born in Cuba, and with a Mexican mother, Jorge Sigler has always sought to explore the world. Throughout his life, Jorge has experienced a wide array of different cultures by living in multiple different places, including Barcelona, Mexico, Costa Rica and others. Jorge is a literary author with multiple published books, as well as a peer-reviewed research and academic author in the areas of management, leadership, education and finance.
Jorge has experiencing managing supplier diversity programs for large public, non-profits and private organizations including the Texas Department of Transportation, California Department of Transportation, City of Chicago, The Obama Foundation, Gilbane Construction and many more. He is also a court appointed special advocate for children who are abused, abandoned or neglected and who are involved in dependency court proceedings. Jorge also volunteers in a wide range of areas including LGBT causes and environmental protection causes.
In his spare time Jorge enjoys traveling, wakeboarding, free-diving, and other watersports.
