Ready to hone your craft – collaborate with other writers – get professional advice about your work

Writers all … come to the Sierra Writers Conference to work on your process, join a community of writers, and participate in professional critique sessions. Join us for a day of learning, sharing, growing and being inspired to craft your words into the stories, articles and books that only you can write.

In the first Workshop Session, writers can choose to;

• Delve into narrative details with Mary Volmer,
• Practice surreal poetry with Gene Berson,
• Improve public speaking instantly with Betsy Grazianai Fasbinder, or
• Grow your writing audience with Julie Baker

Workshop Session two offers;

• Fictional techniques for the memoirist with Sands Hall
• Lessons learned after publishing eighteen titles with Larry Gold
• Spilling family secrets with Patricia Dove Miller, and
• Coaching from Catharine Bramkamp to turn personal stories into compelling fiction

During the Lunch break, share a table with a workshop speaker, network with writers, swap stories, and make plans to meet for coffee or form writing meet-ups.

At 12:45, in the main auditorium, Keynote Speaker, Josh Weil challenges authors to write what scares you!
