Joseph (Joe) Farquhar left us in 2016 at the age of 96. He was a veteran, forest ranger and luthier. He would have thought the word luthier was ridiculous and told me to write "fiddle-maker," instead. His legacy of beautiful violins, kindness and stories are still with us and inspired the Sidonian Stories initiative.
