What If I Were (A Sea, A Sand) presents an ongoing project that inter-creates between experimental text and embodied on-site performance. Through states of suspension, flotation, and ecstatic movement, the performance posits to expand infinitely. Begin with the question which is the titled of project delving into the imagination of becoming to a part of natural phenomena and the endlessly connection cycle of a river, sea and sand.
The whispering of imaginary words of in the video intergrade with the embodied on site performance where the body and the props — a particle reflection, a polkadot of the environment where its move and choreography — overlap subtle movements as it interweaves by the wind.
On the old wall of the building, sand forms into words, stenciled in — yet gradually eroding through time.
