This animation was made completely on the Raspberry Pi 3 hardware. The software used was Blender but several adjustments were made. The system wasn't powerful enough for a lot of the features of Blender. For example, it could not even run the GLSL viewport shading. It was decided to not do a full render either because it was putting a lot of stress on the system and it might have overheated or killed the processor. The legacy Miltitexture shading option was used instead. Also, fun fact, the largest texture used was 64x64 pixels! A setting was disabled that blurred the textures. This helped a lot.
