AI Workflow & Exploration

Artificial Intelligence was used as a design assistant throughout different stages of the project development. 

Step 1 – Concept Development 

AI was used to generate conceptual ideas inspired by:

• The flow of the Selangor River.

• Fluid architectural forms.

• Zaha Hadid’s design language.

Example Prompt 

Generate conceptual architectural sketches inspired by the flowing curves of the Selangor River and the fluid architecture of Zaha Hadid for a retreat and community building.

AI helped to:

• Generate multiple design alternatives.

• Explore different roof geometries.

• Develop the relationship between form and movement.

Step 2 – Environmental Analysis 

AI was used to assist in:

• Wind movement analysis.

• Natural ventilation strategies.

• Daylight optimization.

• Building orientation.

The analysis improved environmental performance while maintaining the original design concept.

Step 3 – Space Planning 

AI assisted in exploring different space relationships and circulation patterns.

The AI recommendations included:

• Positioning the café to maximize river views.

• Improving the connection between the exhibition area and the courtyard.

• Enhancing circulation efficiency throughout the building.
