Join us in creating a vision for the West Side of Sunny Isles Beach!
What are we doing?
The City is embarking on a project to establish a vision for the west side of Collins Avenue. This is the area of the City that has businesses, parks, our top-rated K-8 public school, homes, and places of worship. However, this area is subject to considerable pressure for change.
The City is taking the lead to create a plan for this area. This plan will determine how development projects should be built in the future, including how tall buildings can be, how many homes can be in one place, measures to keep pedestrians safe, help businesses thrive, and more. This vision plan will then become the official rules of our Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code.
The Study Area
The Study Area includes Town Center North as well as other business districts extending north, along the west side of Collins Avenue. See dashed line area below.
