Future Land Use Map
The Future Land Use Map is used to guide future development/ re-development. It shows land use types and densities that have been deemed appropriate for each area. This map is located in the Comprehensive Plan. The Future Land Use Map correlates with text located in the Future Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan. The Future Land Use Map tends to be more general. See below for the Zoning Map, which may have more refined limitations.

Zoning Map
The Zoning Map implements the Future Land Use Map. It tends to be more specific than the Comprehensive Plan and can be considered a fine grained refinement of the Comprehensive Plan. The Zoning Map corresponds to the Zoning Code.
