Special event coming on october 24th, 2026 

Join high school senior Becca Sasser on Saturday, October 24th, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM *EDT* for a Family and Disability Advocacy Workshop. Anybody of any age and ability is invited! 

This workshop focuses on disability advocacy, caregiving support, and the diverse perspectives within families. Through interactive games, group discussions, educational lessons, and hands-on activities, attendees will learn key terminology, explore resources, and discover meaningful ways to support individuals with disabilities and their loved ones.

• Where: Huguenot Road Baptist Church (in the multipurpose room)

• Entry: The event begins at 3:00 and attendees can start arriving at 2:45. Please enter through either of the following doors: 

  • Door 1: under the porte-cochère in the back parking lot

  • Door 5: accessed via the sidewalk from the guest parking lot spaces
