The Oklahoma State SIAM Student Chapter, a local chapter of the larger Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, was established in January 2024. The SIAM Student Chapter at OSU offers a platform for students to share research, learn from peers, and connect with mathematicians. Our primary goal is to cultivate an interdisciplinary STEM community at Oklahoma State. To achieve this, we arrange bi-weekly seminars across the spring and fall semesters and various professional and social events to benefit undergraduate and graduate students.
