SIAM Chapters Meeting

The SIAM Chapters Meeting in Applied Mathematics is a scientific meeting dedicated to fostering collaboration and interaction among young researchers in the fields of numerical analysis, scientific computing, and applied mathematics and is organized with the support of INDAM-GNCS by all the SIAM Chapters in Italy.

Second Edition of the Joint GNCS-SIAM Chapters Meeting

The second edition of the SIAM Chapters Meeting will take place on 29-30 January 2026 at Politecnico di Milano, following the success of the first Joint GNCS-SIAM Chapters Meeting for Young Researchers in Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics.

First Edition of the Joint GNCS-SIAM Chapters Meeting

Pavia has been the host for the First Edition of the Joint GNCS-SIAM Chapters Meeting for Young Researchers in Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics, that took place on February 10-11, 2025.

Chapters involved:

Università di Pavia - CNR-IMATI (UniPV-IMATI), Università di Pisa – Scuola Normale Superiore (UniPi-SNS), Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi).
