Pavia has been the host for the First Edition of the Joint GNCS-SIAM Chapters Meeting for Young Researchers in Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics, that took place on February 10-11, 2025

It was a scientific meeting dedicated to fostering collaboration and interaction among young researchers in the fields of numerical analysis, scientific computing, and applied mathematics and is organized with the support of INDAM-GNCS by the four SIAM Student Chapters in Italy: Università di Pavia - CNR-IMATI (UniPV-IMATI), Università di Pisa – Scuola Normale Superiore (UniPi-SNS), Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi).
