This program is dedicated to providing students, early career professionals, and members of groups that are under-represented in the mathematical sciences, affiliated with Central and Northern California institutions, the support they need to be successful. To this end and with the funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF), we have put forth a program for providing eligible conference attendees with funding to support their travel and registration for the SIAM-NCC 2024 Conference.
We encourage all eligible participants (especially students) to submit an application for travel support.
Applications will still be reviewed after September the 6th on a rolling basis.
After reading the instructions below ⬇️ please apply using this form 🗒️
The personal data collected will be used for deciding on the awards and will not be shared with any other person outside of the SIAM-NCC organizing committee.

Award Decisions and Disbursements
The SIAM-NCC local organizing committee will make every effort to decide on the awards as soon as possible. That said, priority will be given to early applications. Specifically, those who register for the conference and apply for an award before the early-bird deadline (September 6th) will receive priority and notification of their award status by September 20th. Support requests submitted after September 6th will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Award notifications will be provided by email from siamncc24@ucmerced.edu.
Please note that travel awards are contingent upon attending the conference and electronic check-in on site. Awards will be disbursed as electronic checks by UC Merced after the conference.
