About Me
I am a counselor-in-training with a B.S. in Psychology and over two years of cognitive neuroscience research experience, investigating the neural mechanisms underlying advanced meditative states and stages of development as described in classical Buddhist texts. My research has focused on naturalistic retreat settings, where I’ve worked alongside the EPRC to develop a scientific taxonomy for clinically-relevant altered states, as well as advanced meditators to study these states both empirically and experientially, gaining direct insight into their therapeutic potential.
While my academic exploration of consciousness has been supported by respected instructors in Theravada and Chan Buddhist lineages, my personal journey began with Raja Yoga practices passed down through my Indian ancestry and the discipline of traditional Okinawan martial arts practiced since childhood.
My passion for integrating consciousness exploration with therapeutic intervention stemmed from perspective-changing psychedelic experiences, which were challenging to contextualize in everyday life. Without access to professional support, I found meaning through Jungian Analytical Psychology, a supportive community of like-minded individuals, and embodiment practices that catalyzed my research path.
Today, I am actively involved in psychedelic harm reduction, volunteering with organizations such as DanceSafe, Insomniac Ground Control & Headliner Experience, Harmonia, and The Remedy, providing support at festivals and local events. I strongly believe that access to psychedelic integration support must extend beyond clinical settings to the naturalistic spaces where these experiences often occur.
I offer this service not as an expert prescribing answers, but as a fellow traveler walking alongside those who care deeply about ethical presence, cultural humility, and healing across dimensions. My aim is to create nondenominational, evidence-informed spaces where professionals and practitioners can reflect, learn, and grow in service of others.
