Shukang Xiao (肖书康)

Welcome! 

I am a fifth-year Phd Candidate in Economics at University of Calgary. I am on the 2023-2024 Economics Job Market.

I am an applied Microeconomist. My research areas include Development Economics, Family Economics and Political Economy. Especially, I pay attention to the economic determinants of political behaviors, the social and economic consequences of land property rights reform and the formation of cultural behaviors and beliefs.

Prior to my graduate studies at Calgary, I completed my master degree in  Economics at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and undergraduate degreee in Management at Tongji University.
