At AITH Kanpur I taught the subject Heat Transfer Operations ( HTO – KCH 303). Mainly I covered introduction to heat transfer, basic modes of heat transfer and convective heat transfer in detail. In convective heat transfer I taught how convective heat transfer takes place, how velocity and thermal boundary layer develops, how convective heat transfer coefficient is calculated for different geometries and different type of flows. What is the physical significance of different numbers and discussed real life applications of convective heat transfer.
