Worked as a Team Captain and Mechanical Systems lead, with specialized work in actuation systems and pneumatic systems. Worked on various motors (stepper, servo, PMDC) and their drivers. Also designed and implemented various mechanisms for the robotic systems with respect to the respective themes for each year. Also designed a 3 DOF platform with specialized functions and servo actuated.
Successfully created and analysed an IED dispensing mechanism on solidworks which was placed on the Remotely operated vehicle (ROV) having minimum actuations to ease the task for Army and defence related activities.
Had to design, analyse and create prototypes of the fire fighting robot for narrow and in building applications. Transmission consisting of PMDC motors, 2 DOF mechanisms for the monitor assembly, variable flow through nozzle and insight cooling systems.
