1. Simualtion based analysis of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (Supervisor - Prof. S. Sundar Kumar Iyer, IIT Kanpur)
- Evaluated the optimum thickness of the active layer of Device using simulation based study.
- Performed Spectral Response to evaluate the device characteristics and Quantum Efficiency.
2. Design and Performance Analysis of Different Full Adder Topologies (Supervisor - Prof. Shafi Qureshi, IIT Kanpur)
- Examined and simulated the Adder circuits along with their layout on Mentor Graphics.
- Compared the performance based on Static & Dynamic Power and propagation delay.
3. Design and Analysis of MOSFET structures using SilvacoAtlas (Supervisor - Prof. S. Sundar Kumar Iyer, IIT Kanpur)
- Simulated planar technology fabrication processes for designing a MOSFET structure.
- Analyzed the doping profiles, oxidation rates and IV curves for the various processes.
4. High-gain 2 stage Amplifier with positive capacitive feedback compensation (Supervisor - Prof. Shafi Qureshi, IIT Kanpur)
- Modified the circuit proposed in Literature to reduce the Layout area with similar performance.
- Designed and simulated the circuit on Mentor Graphics to extract the parasitic capacitances.
5. Multipurpose Diamond Saw Cutting Machine with Precision control (Supervisor - Prof. Deshdeep Sahdev, IIT Kanpur)
- Designed the machine model on SolidWorks with different sets of vises for multipurpose work.
- Designed the electronic circuitry of the machine for precise control of speed and position.
6. Multibarrel Gun (Supervisor - Prof. Vijay Kumar Jain, IIT Kanpur)
- Manufactured hand driven multibarrel gun capable of firing multiple rounds of marble.
- Hands on experience of using CNC machine and lathe, grinding and drilling operations.
7. Experimental understanding of Scanning Tunneling Microscope (Supervisor - Prof. Deshdeep Sahdev, IIT Kanpur)
- Studied the theory of STM, IV Spectroscopy, and LDOS for various materials.
- Studied the surface states in 1-D and lattice structure of HOPG, Graphene and Mica.
- Carried out experiments on IV spectroscopy and LDOS to broaden my understanding.
