SHS within Bacoor ES was first housed in SHS Dulong Bayan together with the two other SHSs, the SHS Dulong Bayan and SHS within Sineguelasan. In June 2021, the school was transferred and housed within Bacoor ES. The school was first named as SHS Alima since Bacoor ES is situated in Barangay Alima. Later, the name of the school was changed to SHS within Bacoor Elementary School.

The school main gate is situated in Barangay Campo Santo. Thus, the school is one of the constituents of Barangay Campo Santo and it is one of the stakeholders of the school.

The chairperson of the Local School Board is the City Mayor, where the schools share the Special Education Fund (SEF). The City Mayor has control over the Local Government Unit (LGU), which shares with the Provincial Government Unit (PGU) to support the schools. 

The existence of SHS within Bacoor ES promotes educational growth in Barangay Campo Santo. The school marks the development of human resource potential. It also helps uplift the standard of living and enhances participation in the basic functions of society.
