July Top 10 New

With most of July's training and races complete, here's a quick update in the Summer League positions. Rabbit Run races are still TBC but you can see there are some interesting placings showing the strength in seniors and masters after age-grading results. 

In the men's, in 3rd place currently is Alan Davies who is ranked Number 1 in his age category in the UK - his times at Ammanford and PPRC are a few seconds outside the WR for his Age category. Alan is currently in 3rd, but once the Rabbit Run results are in, it will be even closer at the top of the league at the halfway stage - between Steve Taylor and Heath Brett. Looks like this will be a good competition when you look at the other names in the top 10! These include Dewi Griffiths in 4th, coming back to his best.

In the Women's. consistent racing has accumulated enough points for Tori Barry to hold the top spot over Sioned Howells and Llinos Jones in 2nd and 3rd. With June and July bringing some strong race results for many runners e.g. Porthcawl, Swansea Half, SAFA, the league looks like it will bring out the best out of our runners and provide some lively competition in the weeks to come.
