The purpose of this charitable and educational Association is to:
Provide financial support and volunteer assistance for athletic activities and other SHS organizations or clubs as deemed necessary.
Promote and encourage education, physical fitness, sportsmanship, character development and safety in high school athletics at Statesville High School.
Raise Money to Support Statesville High School – every dollar goes to support student athletes, teams, coaches, and other valuable school organizations.
Build and Strengthen Our Community – a strong local high school athletics program brings a community together, creates pride and purpose, and creates opportunities for our students to get involved and thrive.
Make a Difference – get involved in the lives of our youth. Set an example, be a mentor, and show our students that coming together is the best way to succeed.
Concession stands are a key source of revenue for the club, and we need a team to help ensure concession stands run smoothly this season. Looking for 4-6 people, plus a board-level leader to organize the group. We have a devoted team of student volunteers. They just need some coordination and leadership.
Parents and team representatives who volunteer in concessions will earn money that goes directly to the team you designate. At least 50% of the concession proceeds from events you work will go to your team.
Each team must name at least one Team Representative to serve as a liaison between the club and the team. At least one Team Representative should attend Booster meetings to represent the interests of the team and share information with coaches and other team parents.
Sponsors, donors, and fundraising drive everything we do for our athletes, teams, and school. Do you own a business? Do you have a friend/family member who owns a business? Become a sponsor and gain local exposure.
Talk to other team parents about the Booster Club. Invite them to attend a meeting and encourage them to get involved. Like and share social media posts. Mention sponsorship opportunities to local businesses.
