The Statesville High School Athletic Boosters Association is running a 50/50 Fall Season Raffle as a fundraiser. Following are the details and rules of the raffle: 

• Sales of the raffle begin on Friday 8/21/26 and end on Friday 10/30/26.

• Ticket prices are $10 each or 3 for $20 or 10 for $50.

• You must be at least 18 years old to buy tickets.

• Tickets can ONLY be purchased online, and no cash will be accepted.

• The purchaser must provide their name and a valid email address when purchasing.

• An email with an e-ticket is sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase.

• If the raffle is cancelled for any reason prior to the drawing, all purchased tickets will be refunded with proof of purchase.

• Each e-ticket is automatically assigned a unique ID number. 

• A public drawing will be held at the SHS Athletic Boosters Association meeting on Monday, November 16. You do NOT have to be present to win.

• A random number generator will be used to identify the winning ticket.

• The winner will be notified using the email address entered by the purchaser.

• The winner has 30 days from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings. If the winner does not claim their winnings by that date, another winner will be drawn using the same procedure.

• The exact amount of the winnings is calculated by multiplying the total revenue from raffle ticket sales by 50% and EXCLUDES any additional donations made as part of the purchase process.

In accordance with North Carolina law, the maximum prize for the raffle is $125,000. Therefore, the maximum amount of ticket sales will not exceed $250,000. The remaining 50% of ticket sales and additional donations will be used by the SHS Athletic Boosters Association to fund its General Fund, driving its mission to provide financial support and volunteer assistance for athletic activities and other SHS organizations or clubs as deemed necessary, and promote and encourage education, physical fitness, sportsmanship, character development and safety in High School athletics at Statesville High School.
