I am a researcher with over a decade of experience in cutting edge molecular biology research and a deep-rooted passion towards personalized health. I hold a Masters in Zoology from University of Calcutta and PhD from CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), New Delhi, India. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Institute of Biological and Chemical Systems-Functional Molecular Systems (IBCS-FMS), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany for around 3 and a half years. Thereafter I moved back to India for a short postdoctoral stint at CSIR-IGIB, New Delhi, followed by an assistant professorship at Department of Biotechnology, Amity University (Noida). Presently I am working as a DST-INSPIRE faculty at the Department of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, IIT Delhi. I am well versed with a wide range of research expertise including cell and molecular biology, public health, next generation sequencing and development of novel molecular diagnostic techniques.
