How do you chose what production you will stage next?

Our productions are chosen carefully by a vote within our committee, taking into account both our audiences and the size of our casts. We believe in offering a rich variety of theatre — from musicals and contemporary plays to Shakespeare and classics — so that our actors can develop a wide range of skills and experiences on stage.

Do you sell tickets on the door?

Yes, subject to availability — but we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

How do I become part of the backstage crew?

We don’t just focus on what happens under the spotlight — we also welcome anyone who wants to be part of the magic behind the scenes. From stage management and props to makeup, photography, videography, costume and set design, there are so many ways to get involved and develop new skills. We’re proud to support learning in all areas of theatre, not just performance. (Please note: all backstage work involving children will require a full DBS check.) If you’d like to help out backstage, we’d love to hear from you — there’s a place for you in our team!

I'm interested in directing a play, how do I go about this?

We’d love to hear from you! If you’re interested in directing, please email us with an outline of your idea, including what you’d like to direct, any previous experience, and your vision for the production. Your proposal will be discussed at committee level, and if it’s a good fit, we’ll invite you to come in and pitch your idea in person. We welcome new directors and are always excited to explore fresh creative ideas.

I want to join, how do I pay?

We offer either Bank Transfer or Cash Payments, the first session is always free to see if it's something you'd enjoy before committing. If there's any reason why you cannot pay, please come and speak to us - we will never turn anyone away due to financial difficulties. 

How do I join the Committee?
