Our History

Showcase was established in 2004 as an initiative to improve access to the arts for young people in the Cynon Valley. the original arrangement was for specialists to offer drama workshops to local children. This soon developed into a performing arts society that provides live theatre to the community. As a company we offer the chance to perform in musicals, plays and concerts; all of which help up-skill the performer. Many of our past and current members have had successful careers in there arts, including as actors, stage managers and theatre technicians.
