Recitals are a wonderful way for students to build confidence, perform in front of an audience, and showcase all of the hard work and new things they've learned this season. It is also an experience that will surely create lifelong memories for your performer. From costumes, lighting, & makeup, to the thrill of being backstage with your class and onstage performing, the recital is a super fun way to end the season. We love giving all students the chance to perform for their family and friends in this supportive and fun environment and encourage even our youngest and newest performers to be involved. If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the recital on the dates and times provided in this handbook, please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them.
In terms of attendance, it is very important that students miss as few as possible of their scheduled classes between now and recital, so they can feel confident and look amazing come recital time. Private lessons will be required after your student misses too many classes, and they may be dropped if they are too far behind. We know the spring is a busy time, so as always, we request you let us know via the parent portal, text, or email if your dancer will be missing class so we can plan accordingly.
This is without a doubt the highlight of our year and we are filled with excitement to show you how hard our students have been working! Please read on for all of the details, in regards to this extra special event!
