SM McCullers Farm: Patricia Ann McCullers honored as an NC Century Farm
The Oaky Grove Farm: Carol and Talmage Brown, fifth-generation farm owners, partnered with Wake County and Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) which will hold and monitor the easement, placing the farm in perpetuity. The purchase of this conservation easement is thanks to these partners as well as the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resource Conservation Service and North Carolina’s Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund, each of which are contributing funds toward the agreement.
