Recently, I have been researching a linkage mechanism called the Kaleidocycle and the discretization of the Rayleigh-Plesset equation, a nonlinear ordinary differential equation.

I have constructed an explicit formula for Kaleidocycles using the elliptic theta functions. The paper is available on arXiv.

There are various types of Kaleidocycles. The shapes and materials of the components can be freely changed to some extent, and I believe that Kaleidocycles have a variety of potential applications.
