Calcutta Boys' School
I spent quite a bit of my childhood in this school. Thankful to quite a few teachers in this school for pushing me in the right direction.

I did my MSc(Engg) in Structural Acoustic in the Department of Mechanical Engineering under the tutelage of Prof. VR Sonti. Briefly, the field of Structural Acoustics studies how Fluids and Structures interact. The analysis is done in the linear regime because that gives rise to waves.
My thesis was titled "Self-Noise due to Towed Hydrophone Array".
Carnegie Mellon Univeristy
I got interested in continuum mechanics during my MSc at IISc owing to Prof. CS Jog. He introduced me to K Dayal, who became my Ph.D. advisor at CMU.
I got my Ph.D. in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering At CMU. My degree was in Computational Mechanics.
My thesis was titled "Nonlocal Dipolar Interactions in Complex Geometries for Quantum Embedding".
I am a PostDoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics in the lab of RD James. I am working in the field on Phase-Transitions and how they can influence Superconducting-Transitions temperatures.
