Hello there and welcome! My name is Ms. Boehmler (bem-ler) and I am one of the ELA teachers here at Sonoran Heights. This will be my fourth year at the school, and my sixth year teaching overall. I am eager to get the year underway, and look forward to working with you all!

I was born and raised in eastern Washington State, and I originally went to college to double major in Music Education and Percussion Performance. Midway through, I decided that the traditional classroom was more of my style, and I graduated in 2016 with my bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois Univeristy. I landed in a 2nd grade classroom and quickly realized that it was not for me. I have been teaching middle school since, and it is by far my favorite age group!

My husband and I moved from Illinois to Arizona shortly after I graduated, and we love it here (we hate snow)! Since then, we have gotten married, purchased a house out here in Surprise, and are parents to three lovely cats that I could talk about all-day-every-day.
