Get a taste of what's to come.
Hey, I'm Zee (they/ey), also known as Shirukagiri :) I am a Dutch vocal synth enthousiast that occasionally finishes something, and when I do, I like sharing it. So, here's my beautiful website where I upload files in an organized manner for you to view and/or download! I might also use this website for other vocal synth related stuff when I get to actually finishing stuff more 👀
I play a mouthful of instruments, poorly, but it produces sound, so it's music, right?
Kazoo professional, recorder "professional", guitar guitar guita, voice, otamatone, plastic sliding whistle, harmonica, cajon, there's probably stuff I'm forgetting.
But of course, I am a vocal synth lover. I love all vocal synths. All of them. And I will use them all. Vocal synths! Gotta use them all... it's you or me. I know it's my destiny, vocal synths! I'm trying very hard to be professional which is ruining the joke. I apologize.
I work with computers to make my silly little music a lot, so obviously I use a lot of software. I also use hardware. But the software is what you're here for. So, I've compiled a neat little list here for all you software freaks.
At first I "mixed" in Audacity, but I've switched to Reaper since Teto Forgery, I think. I use FabFilter's Pro-Q 3, Pro-R, Pro-DS and Pro-C 2 mixing VSTs.
The DAW I use is Reaper, although I used Cakewalk for a while. I use Spitfire's LABS for most VSTis, they're great and free!
I record in Audacity and in oremo for recording UTAU voices.
I've used classic UTAU when I started out, but I switched to OpenUTAU with Yuki's VCV Debut.
I used Shotcut for editing for a while, it was neat and easy to use but would often crash. I have been using Adobe After Effects since Yuki's VCV Debut.
To make assets used in the videos I use Clip Studio Paint.
To draw I use Clip Studio Paint.
The microphone I use is a pink Razer Seiren Mini and the drawing tablet I use is a Wacom Intuos M.
