Here at Shipps Corner Pet Spa & Resort we make it a priority to treat and care for your pet like its one of our own. We want every pet that walks through our doors to feel welcomed and accommodated. We are always welcome to talking to our clients about special needs, requirements, and/or aid their pets may need during their time with us. 

We prioritize your dog's well being and our experienced staff ensures a fun and safe environment.  At Shipps Corner, we believe in creating a positive and stimulating envirnment for every dog. Our philosphy centers on positive reinforcement, supervised socialization, and personal care. We prioritize safety, cleanliness, and the overall well-being of our furry guests. We're proud to be part of the Virginia Beach community and provide free overnight boarding to our local Fire, EMS, and Police when on duty. 

Doggie Daycare Policy Regarding Pet Sterilization

We strongly encourage that all dogs attending our daycare be spayed or neutered after their 1st birthday. We understand that there may be exceptional circumstances preventing sterilization. We are willing to work with pet owners on a case-by-case basis to accommodate these situations. 

If an intact dog exhibits behavior problems that negatively impact the daycare/boarding environment (e.g., excessive mounting, aggression), we reserve the right to request sterilization or temporarily suspend daycare privileges. Female dogs in heat are not permitted for the safety and well-being of all dogs.
