Have you been clean and sober for the past 30 days?
Do NOT have a criminal record of violence, weapons, or abuse of minors?
Are you willing to work one-on-one with a Personal Advisor (PA) to become employed and self-sufficient?

How to apply to become a SHIP Guest
SHIP serves homeless, single, adult individuals who are capable of obtaining permanent, full-time employment within 30 to 60 days. Our goal is to not only care for our guests, but to prepare them to care for themselves by providing for them during a four-month transition period.
Guests must be substance-free for at least 30 days prior to admission and does not accept applicants with criminal records of violence, weapons, or abuse of minors.
This is a highly structured, “tough love” program that is not appropriate for all homeless individuals.
Guest program rules include:
adhere to set program rules, as well as individual host community rules
Guests are on the premises between 6:00 pm and 7:00 am during weekdays and may come and go during weekends.????????????
conform to mandatory curfews and other rules designed to ensure safety and cooperation aboard the SHIP
be capable of completing daily job search requirements
attend weekly counseling sessions in goal setting, budgeting, and preparing regular budgets
must follow strict savings requirements
share chores to maintain the facility
