Uniforming

Uniforming is an important part of what makes a Sea Scout Ship. The similar and recognizable uniforms allow Sea Scouts to stand out in a crowd and make them part of one Ship.

The Official Sea Scout Uniform is equivalent to the BSA field uniform and is designed for wear by youth and adults and serves as both dress and work uniform. The garments are commercially available work clothing similar to Dickies® work shirts and work pants. Ship 117 uses a uniform from LA Police Gear.

It's important that when you are purchasing your Sea Scout Uniform that you purchase the correct items and patches. It is also important that you place them in the correct spots on the uniform.
