History

The school was founded in March 28. At first it was named the "Tainan State Jingliao Public School Xingangdong Branch Teaching Ground". After that, it was renamed as "Xindong National School, Houbi Township, Tainan County". In February 1935, it was renamed "The Fourth National School, Houbi Township, Tainan County". In August 1957, it was officially renamed as "Xindong National Primary School, Houbi Township, Tainan County".
