Lead Researcher: Jiyun Elizabeth (Liz) L. Shin, Ph.D.
I’m fascinated by how different factors influence students’ academic and socio-emotional outcomes. As a professor, I regularly teach courses on research methods, social/educational psychology, and multicultural psychology.
Outside of work, I enjoy fitness activities such as weightlifting and indoor rowing, as well as digital photography, reading adventure-based memoirs, and quality family time.
I welcome research assistants who share a passion for investigating factors that promote students’ academic and socio-emotional well-being, who take initiative, and are excited to keep learning and growing.
If you are interested in joining the lab, please feel free to email me at jshin@binghamton.edu
