I am a Ph.D research scholar, at the Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (CAOS), Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. My research area revolves around understanding the low-frequency global climate variability with special emphasis on the Indian Summer Monsoon Rainfall (ISMR). In particular, I delve into understanding the role of internal climate variability in influencing El Nino Southern Oscillation seasonal transitions. I received the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) in August 2020. I hail from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh (gorakhpur.nic.in/).
