A park where 3,500 plants of 400 species of roses from around the world are planted. Because the flowering time varies depending on the variety, you can enjoy the sweet fragrance and graceful appearance of roses from mid-May to December. There is also a sales office for rose seedlings. Seedlings will be sold from early April to the end of November. A rose festival is held in May, and many shops open.

A museum of the Murakami family, the "biggest pirate clan in Japan," who were active in the Setouchi area in the 14 century and fought with daimyo (Japanese territorial lord) during the Sengoku period. You can learn about the history of the Murakami pirates through restored items, excavated remains and relics. Taking a commemorative photo wearing armor is also popular.
