These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ShiftMate mobile application (“ShiftMate”, “the App”), provided by Amar Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, accessing or using ShiftMate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
ShiftMate is a personal productivity application designed to help users:
organize work shifts;
record working hours and breaks;
estimate earnings and expenses;
view statistics;
create reports;
synchronize and restore app information through supported cloud features.
ShiftMate is not an employer, payroll processor, accountant, tax adviser, lawyer or financial institution.
You must be legally permitted to use the App and enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.
The App is not directed to children under 13.
Some ShiftMate features require signing in with a Google account.
You are responsible for:
maintaining the security of your Google account and device;
ensuring that the information you enter is accurate;
preventing unauthorized use of your account;
notifying us if you believe your account has been misused.
One user must not attempt to access another user’s data or account.
You retain responsibility for the shift, schedule, rate, expense, note and other information you enter into ShiftMate.
You must not use the App to store or distribute unlawful, abusive, infringing or malicious content.
Cloud synchronization and backups reduce the risk of data loss but do not guarantee that information can never be lost. Users should independently retain any records that are legally, professionally or financially important.
Our handling of personal information is described in the ShiftMate Privacy Policy.
Earnings, hours, expenses, totals, statistics and reports generated by ShiftMate are estimates based on information entered by the user.
ShiftMate does not guarantee:
payroll accuracy;
tax accuracy;
accounting accuracy;
compliance with employment agreements;
compliance with labour, tax or accounting laws;
acceptance of a report by an employer, accountant or authority.
Users must independently verify important calculations and records.
ShiftMate may offer optional automatically renewing Premium subscriptions through Google Play.
Available plans, prices, billing periods, trial terms and benefits are shown in the App and by Google Play before purchase.
Premium may provide recurring features such as:
advanced statistics;
PDF reports;
cloud restoration;
Google Drive backup;
other Premium features identified in the App.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled according to the conditions displayed by Google Play.
Payment is charged through the user’s Google Play account. Amar Studio does not directly process complete payment-card information.
Users can manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through the “Manage subscription” option in ShiftMate or through:

Deleting ShiftMate, signing out, or deleting a ShiftMate account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
When a subscription is cancelled, Premium access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period, according to Google Play’s rules.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. Refund requests are governed by Google Play policies and applicable law.
Where available, users should request a refund through Google Play or Google Play support.
ShiftMate may allow eligible users to redeem promo codes that grant Premium access for a defined period.
Promo codes may:
have expiration dates;
be limited to a particular number of uses;
be limited to one redemption per user;
be withdrawn where misuse or fraud is detected;
be subject to additional conditions communicated with the code.
Promo codes have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged unless expressly stated otherwise.
You must not:
access or attempt to access another user’s account or information;
interfere with the operation or security of ShiftMate;
manipulate subscription, Premium or promo-code systems;
reverse engineer the App except where applicable law expressly permits it;
use automated methods to abuse or overload the App or connected services;
introduce malware or malicious code;
use ShiftMate for unlawful purposes.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security threats or violations of these Terms.
ShiftMate relies on third-party services, including Google, Firebase, Google Play and RevenueCat.
Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. Availability of ShiftMate features may depend on the operation of those services.
We do not control and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party services.
We may add, modify, suspend or remove features when reasonably necessary for development, security, legal compliance or service operation.
We will not intentionally remove already-paid access merely to avoid providing the recurring value associated with an active subscription.
Users may stop using ShiftMate at any time.
Signed-in users can initiate account deletion from the Settings screen. Additional deletion information is provided on the ShiftMate Delete Account page and in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats or serious violations of these Terms.
ShiftMate is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every employment, payroll, accounting or legal purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amar Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of ShiftMate, including lost income, lost records or decisions based solely on App estimates.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law.
We may update these Terms when ShiftMate, applicable laws, subscription conditions or connected services change.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Amar Studio, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in the user’s country of residence.
