This page explains how to request permanent deletion of a ShiftMate account and associated app data.

If you still have access to your account:
Open ShiftMate.
Sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open Settings.
Scroll to the Account section.
Select “Delete account”.
Read the deletion warning.
Type DELETE.
Confirm permanent deletion.
Complete Google reauthentication if requested.
When the deletion process succeeds, ShiftMate removes:
your Firebase Authentication account;
your primary Cloud Firestore user document;
your ShiftMate settings, shifts, rates, notes and expenses stored in that document;
local ShiftMate account data on the device;
the ShiftMate backup stored in the private Google Drive appDataFolder.
Deletion cannot be undone.
If you uninstalled ShiftMate, lost access to the device, or cannot sign in, send an account-deletion request to:

Use the subject:
Delete my ShiftMate account
Where reasonably possible, send the request from the email address used for your ShiftMate account. This helps us verify that the request concerns your account.
Do not send your password, payment-card information or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Email deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days.
Deleting a ShiftMate account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription.
To prevent future subscription charges, separately manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play:

Cancellation is controlled by Google Play and may take effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
Certain limited records may be retained where necessary for:
transaction and accounting obligations;
payment disputes;
fraud and abuse prevention;
promo-code redemption security;
compliance with applicable law;
technical backup cycles.
Google Play and RevenueCat may retain purchase or subscription records under their respective legal obligations and policies.
Promo-code redemption records may be retained to prevent repeated or fraudulent redemption.
