ShiftMate (“the App”) is developed and provided by Amar Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”). ShiftMate helps users organize work shifts, track working hours, estimate earnings and expenses, and create work reports.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why it is processed, where it may be stored, and how users can request deletion of their account and data.
You may use basic features of ShiftMate without creating an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we may process:
your email address;
your Google display name, when available;
your Firebase user identifier (UID);
authentication and last-activity information necessary to maintain your account.
Authentication is provided through Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication.
Depending on the features you use, ShiftMate may process information that you enter, including:
work shifts and schedules;
start and end times;
break durations;
hourly rates;
estimated earnings;
expenses;
notes;
shift templates;
currency, language and other settings;
deleted-shift synchronization records;
promo-code redemption information.
This information is entered by you and is used to provide the App’s scheduling, calculation, reporting and synchronization features.
ShiftMate uses Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to provide and manage optional Premium subscriptions.
These services may process:
your ShiftMate user identifier;
your email address and display name;
product and subscription identifiers;
purchase and renewal history;
subscription status;
purchase, renewal and expiration dates;
store transaction identifiers;
country, currency and price information associated with a transaction.
ShiftMate does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details. Payments are processed by Google Play.
ShiftMate stores app information locally on your device so that the App can work and retain your settings and shifts.
Local information remains on the device until it is removed through the App, the account-deletion process, Android settings, or by uninstalling or clearing the App’s data.
Uninstalling the App may remove local information, but it does not automatically delete information associated with a signed-in account that has already been stored in cloud services.
If you sign in, your account information, settings, shifts, rates, notes, expenses and related app data may also be stored in Google Cloud Firestore.
Cloud Firestore is used to:
associate app data with your account;
protect synchronized data from accidental loss;
merge changes made by the signed-in user;
make cloud restoration available when the applicable Premium conditions are met;
process promo-code grants.
Premium access controls restoration and certain additional cloud features. It does not necessarily prevent signed-in app data from being stored in Cloud Firestore for synchronization protection and possible future restoration.
Each signed-in user is permitted to access only the Firestore user document associated with that user’s Firebase UID through the official App.
Users with active Premium access may use a ShiftMate backup stored in the private app-data area of their personal Google Drive account.
ShiftMate requests access only to the Google Drive appDataFolder. The App does not request general access to browse or modify the user’s ordinary Google Drive documents.
The backup is used to restore ShiftMate data. The developer does not use the App to browse the user’s personal Google Drive files.
If you redeem a promo code, ShiftMate may store:
the promo-code identifier;
the date of redemption;
the date until which the grant remains valid;
a redemption record connected to your Firebase UID.
These records are used to prevent repeated or unauthorized redemption and to provide the granted Premium period.
We use information processed through ShiftMate to:
authenticate users;
provide work-schedule and earnings-calculation features;
store user settings;
synchronize and restore app data;
create reports requested by the user;
manage subscriptions and Premium access;
process promo codes;
prevent abuse and repeated promo-code redemption;
provide customer support;
diagnose technical problems and improve reliability;
comply with legal, security, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations.
We do not sell users’ personal data.
ShiftMate relies on third-party services to operate specific features:
Google Sign-In — user authentication;
Firebase Authentication — account authentication and identification;
Google Cloud Firestore — storage and synchronization of account-related app data;
Google Drive API — private Premium backup in appDataFolder;
Google Play Billing — processing and management of Android purchases;
RevenueCat — subscription verification and Premium-entitlement management;
Firebase Analytics, when enabled in a distributed App version — aggregated app-usage measurement and product improvement.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not sell or rent personal information.
Information may be processed by the service providers listed above only as necessary to provide authentication, storage, synchronization, payment, subscription, analytics and support functionality.
Information may also be disclosed if required by applicable law, a valid legal request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, investigate abuse or defend legal rights.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, user-specific document access rules and encrypted network connections provided by our service providers.
No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and device.
Local data remains on the device until it is removed by the user, cleared through Android settings, or removed through the App’s account-deletion process.
Cloud Firestore account data is generally retained while the account remains active or until deletion is requested.
Google Drive backups remain in the App’s private Drive data area until replaced, deleted through the App, removed by the user through Google-account controls, or otherwise deleted according to Google’s policies.
Subscription, transaction, fraud-prevention and accounting records may be retained by Google Play, RevenueCat or Amar Studio for periods required by law, payment-processing requirements, security, dispute handling or fraud prevention.
Promo-code redemption records may be retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes, including after the primary account data has been deleted.
A signed-in user can initiate account deletion inside ShiftMate:
Open ShiftMate.
Open Settings.
Select “Delete account”.
Read the deletion notice.
Type DELETE.
Confirm permanent deletion and complete Google reauthentication when requested.
When successful, the in-app deletion process removes:
the Firebase Authentication account;
the primary Cloud Firestore user document;
local account data used by ShiftMate;
the ShiftMate backup stored in the Google Drive appDataFolder.
Deleting a ShiftMate account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Users must separately manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Certain transaction, subscription, promo-redemption, fraud-prevention, accounting or technical records may remain where required by law, platform requirements, security or legitimate abuse-prevention purposes.
RevenueCat customer information may require separate processing. To request full deletion of remaining ShiftMate-associated support or RevenueCat customer information, contact:
amar.studio.eu@gmail.com
Use the subject:
Delete my ShiftMate account
Where reasonably necessary to verify ownership, send the request from the email address used for the ShiftMate account. Do not include passwords, payment-card information or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Deletion requests submitted by email are normally processed within 30 days.
ShiftMate subscriptions are billed and managed by Google Play.
Subscriptions may automatically renew according to the terms displayed by Google Play during purchase. Users can view, manage or cancel a subscription through the “Manage subscription” option in ShiftMate or through Google Play.
Deleting the App or deleting a ShiftMate account does not itself cancel a Google Play subscription.
ShiftMate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through ShiftMate, contact us so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Service providers used by ShiftMate may process information in countries other than the user’s country of residence. Their processing is governed by their applicable legal obligations, privacy policies and data-transfer safeguards.
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to:
request access;
request correction;
request deletion;
object to or restrict certain processing;
request a copy of certain information;
withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
submit a complaint to a competent data-protection authority.
To submit a privacy request, contact:
amar.studio.eu@gmail.com
We may request reasonable verification to prevent unauthorized access to or deletion of another person’s account.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to ShiftMate, service providers, legal requirements or data practices.
The updated policy will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be changed.
