This Privacy Policy describes how ShieldLock Guard collects, uses, and discloses your information in connection with your use of our mobile application (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address and name to create your account and manage your subscription status.
Referral Data: We store your unique referral code and the list of users you have referred to manage our "Refer and Earn" program.
Device Information: We collect a unique device identifier (Device ID) to prevent abuse of our free trial system. This helps us ensure that the trial is offered only once per device.

To provide its core security features, the App requests the following sensitive permissions. We do not sell your personal data.
Camera (CAMERA): * Purpose: The App uses the camera for two specific features:
1. Intruder Photos: To capture a photo of the unauthorized user when the alarm is triggered.
2. Flashlight SOS: To flash the device's flashlight as a visual alarm.
Data Handling: Intruder photos are stored locally on your device. We do not upload these photos to our servers or share them with third parties.
Sensors (Motion & Proximity):
Purpose: We access your device's accelerometer and proximity sensors to detect unauthorized movement or handling of your device.
Data Handling: Sensor data is processed in real-time on your device to trigger the alarm. It is not stored or transmitted.
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
Core Functionality: To trigger the alarm and capture photos when a theft attempt is detected.
Account Management: To verify your identity and sync your premium subscription status across devices.
Fraud Prevention: To prevent abuse of the free trial system using unique device identifiers.
Communication: To send you critical updates about the App (we do not send spam).
Local Storage: Intruder photos are stored securely in your device's private internal storage. They can only be accessed through the App or by you directly.
Cloud Storage: User account data (email, subscription status, device ID) is stored securely on Google Firebase servers.
Security: We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmission between the App and our servers.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to marketers or third parties. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers: We use Google Firebase (for backend services) and Google Play (for billing). These providers process data on our behalf and are subject to strict data protection obligations.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
