Objective: The Sherwan Science Citation Index (SSCI-SIOE) serve as a premier indexing service for high-quality scientific journals across various disciplines, focusing on their research impact, innovation, and adherence to global publishing standards.
1. Journal Scope & Coverage
The journal must focus on natural sciences, applied sciences, engineering, medical sciences, environmental sciences, or interdisciplinary scientific research.
Must publish original research, systematic reviews, or high-impact scientific studies.
2. Publication Standards & Review Process
Peer Review: The journal must follow a double-blind or single-blind peer review process.
Editorial Board: Must have a well-qualified international editorial board with at least 30% of members from outside the journal’s home country.
Ethical Compliance: Must adhere to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and publishing ethics.
3. Citation & Impact Factor Criteria
Must have a minimum H-index of 5 (calculated over the last 3 years).
At least 30% of articles should be cited within 3 years of publication.
The journal should demonstrate a gradual increase in citations over time.
4. Indexing & Digital Accessibility
Must be indexed in at least one recognized database (e.g., Scopus, WoS, PubMed, DOAJ, Google Scholar).
Must provide DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for all published articles.
Must have an online submission and review system with full-text accessibility.
5. Publication Frequency & Continuity
The journal should have a minimum of 3 years of continuous publication history.
Must publish at least 4 issues per year (quarterly) or a minimum of 30 articles annually.
Should ensure timely publication with a clear editorial workflow.
6. International Collaboration & Open Science
Must encourage international authorship (at least 20% of articles should have international co-authors).
Open-access or hybrid publishing models are preferred.

2. Sherwan Elite Citation Index (SECI)
Target Journals: High-impact, well-established, and globally recognized journals.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be indexed in at least two major databases (Scopus, WoS, PubMed, etc.).
Minimum 5 years of continuous publication history.
Average citation per article ≥ 10 over the last 3 years.
International editorial board with peer-review policies.
Must have a digital object identifier (DOI) system in place.
Ethical compliance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
3. Sherwan Advanced Research Index (SARI)
Target Journals: Emerging and mid-tier scholarly journals focused on innovative research.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 3 years of publication history.
Indexed in at least one recognized database (Google Scholar, DOAJ, EBSCO, etc.).
At least 30% of published papers should be cited within 2 years.
Must follow an open-access or hybrid publishing model.
Should publish at least 20 articles per year.
4. Sherwan Emerging Scholar Index (SESI)
Target Journals: Newly established but promising journals with rigorous review processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 2 years of publication history.
Active ISSN registration with consistent publishing schedule.
At least 10 peer-reviewed articles per issue.
Clear editorial and peer-review policies in place.
Demonstrated efforts to improve citations and impact.
5. Sherwan Multidisciplinary Research Index (SMRI)
Target Journals: Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary journals covering diverse fields.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must publish research from at least 5 distinct academic disciplines.
Strong international authorship and readership base.
Indexed in at least one multidisciplinary database.
Must have clear ethical guidelines and a transparent review process.
6. Sherwan Regional Impact Index (SRII)
Target Journals: Local and regional journals contributing to specific geographic research.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must have a regional or national focus in research themes.
Should be affiliated with a recognized academic institution or research body.
Indexed in national or regional databases (e.g., CNKI for China, SciELO for Latin America).
Minimum of 5 issues published in the last 3 years.
Initial Evaluation: A review committee will assess the journal’s compliance with eligibility criteria.
Annual Review: Indexed journals will be reviewed annually for citation trends, ethical practices, and publication consistency.
Delisting Policy: Journals failing to meet standards will receive a warning and a grace period of 6 months to rectify issues before removal.
Indexing Fee: Qualified journals, after evaluation and monitoring, are required to pay a one-time processing fee of US$100.
